shareware site, not included since it's rather large)
 
Info: RUThere is a small program for all of you with your own 
LAN (Local Area Network) at home.  It's a ICQ-like program, 
to see which of you friends on the network are there.  It includes 
functions for sending messages, and a chat.  You can have as many 
as 100 users.  A normal at-home network does not usually have more 
users.  The program takes very little hard-drive space and hardly any
space on your desktop.
This program is Freeware.

from using this program. It should work OK but you never know what
